Founded in November 2014, the Cultural Left has now flourished for more than a decade, marking a significant milestone in its development and influence. Alongside its subsidiary and developmental arm, the Creative Left, it is dedicated to fostering cultural policies and economy, cultural diplomacy, innovation, creativity, and cultural expression within contemporary society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cultural Left and its subsidiary, the Creative Left, were established by Panayiotis Neufeld, recognised as the first arts, culture, creative, and entertainment ecologies industrialist. Through their work, both organisations have sought to advance new paradigms in cultural thought, policy, and practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For almost three decades, the Founder has worked extensively within the fields of Cultural and Creative Research, Policy, Management, and Economics, acquiring a wealth of expertise, insight, and experience. As a cultural, artistic, and creative practitioner, Panayiotis Neufeld began his journey in 1981, participating in a wide range of artistic and cultural productions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCulturalising Democracy\u201d and \u201cDemocratising Culture\u201d are two guiding principles coined by the Founder, encapsulating his long-standing commitment to strengthening the relationship between culture, politics, economy and civic life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since their inception, both organisations have actively participated in numerous forums, conferences, symposia, and professional gatherings across the Arts, Culture, Creative, and Entertainment Industries (ACCEI) ecologies, contributing to dialogue, research, and sectoral development at both national and international levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As independent international entities, the Cultural Left and the Creative Left maintain no organic affiliation with any political party or political organisation anywhere in the world. For the time being, they neither engage in, endorse, nor subscribe to partisan political agendas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cultural Left and the Creative Left are, by their very nature, self-explanatory in their mission and orientation. They advocate the centrality of aesthetics and champion the most contemporary, progressive, and forward-looking approaches to cultural politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Their proposals are firmly grounded in sector-specific, human-centred, evolutionary, aesthetically coherent, and scientifically substantiated models. In doing so, they depart from the traditional party-political frameworks, ideological orthodoxies, and closed circles that continue to characterise many existing political structures and approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
