Dior has launched new versions of their Book Tote emblazoned with the covers of classics such as <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Dior\/status\/2011483451770216763\">Ulysses<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.harpersbazaar.com\/celebrity\/latest\/a65278067\/rihanna-paris-style-jonathan-anderson-dracula-dior-book-tote\/\">Dracula<\/a>. Earlier this year, Coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.penguinrandomhouse.com\/articles\/a-story-worth-wearing\/\">collaborated<\/a> with Penguin to produce miniature literary bag charms \u2013 fully readable micro-versions of books, from I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings to Sense and Sensibility. Miu Miu <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miumiu.com\/gb\/en\/miumiu-club\/special-projects\/miu-miu-literary-club-milan-2026.html\">hosts a Literary Club<\/a>; Chanel its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chanel.com\/fr\/mode\/evenement\/rendez-vous-litteraires\/\">Rendez-vous litt\u00e9raire<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Being bookish is now sexy, we\u2019re told. <a href=\"https:\/\/i-d.co\/article\/the-whitney-review-interview\/\">i-D magazine<\/a> recently ran a piece on the Whitney Review \u2013 a literary journal based in New York \u2013 proclaiming its team part of the \u201chot literati reshaping criticism\u201d. The founder describes the Review as \u201csexy, surprising, stubborn\u201d, and its contributors \u201ccurious and beautiful\u201d (corroborated by an accompanying shoot in which the Whitney team look more like a bunch of models than anything else). But the piece raised eyebrows in the comments section of i-D\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DXFbNeamb3c\/\">Instagram page<\/a>: \u201cthe definition of vacuous and vapid\u201d, writes one user; \u201cNo room for ugly literati, only HOT\u201d, says another.
