I had the idea for \u201cTwist in my \u2026\u201d something, but didn\u2019t know what else to put in there. I tried \u201cTwist in my gravity\u201d before ending up with \u201csobriety\u201d, but it\u2019s not a song about alcohol. It\u2019s about feeling that things aren\u2019t right in the world, and that adults can do terrible or immoral things \u2013 but none of it will change you. Fundamentally, it\u2019s a song by an alienated teenager who feels there\u2019s a lot of injustice.
