This comes after multiple reports have revealed the U.S. is facing a critical munitions shortage, having used up much of its global stockpile of expensive missile systems during the war against Iran.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Pentagon is completely dysfunctional when it comes to fighting this kind of war,\u201d says defense analyst William Hartung, principal adviser at the Project on Government Oversight.
