Each year international designers gather in New Zealand for World of WearableArt – a festival in Wellington where art, design, fashion and theatre collide. It culminates in a competition where designers show off their creations, from gowns resembling birds, fish and telephones to surreal garments inspired by cultural heritage and the natural world.
